Foxglove Barn

Foxglove Barn is a 3-bedroom converted barn in Gibraltar, a rural hamlet near Dinton in the Buckinghamshire countryside, about 5 minutes' drive from Thame. It sleeps 9 guests over two floors. The barn sits right next to a working livery and pony stables, with horses in view from one side of the house and a private garden on the other. It has been renovated to a high specification, with large windows, plenty of light and private driveway parking.

The ground floor is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and sitting areas arranged around a log burner, with a dining table seating 8–10 and a sitting area seating 8–10, looking out over the horses and garden. The kitchen has an AGA, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher and a large pantry stocked with cooking and baking ingredients, along with every utensil you are likely to need. Off the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. Also on the ground floor are the super king bedroom, which can be made up as two singles with prior notice, with an ensuite shower room, and a cloakroom WC.

Upstairs is a king bedroom with a freestanding roll-top bath in the room and views over the horses and garden, a bedroom with 5 single beds, which works well for children or friends sharing, and a family shower room with a WC and basin.

Outside, the private rear garden has a patio, garden furniture, a fire pit and a table tennis table. Driveway parking takes up to 4 small cars or 2 large cars, with free EV charging for one car. Riding lessons can be booked in advance with the stables next door.

Bigstrup Farm wedding venue is across the road, and the Seven Stars pub in Dinton is a 10–15 minute walk. Thame, with its cafés, pubs and supermarkets, is 5 minutes' drive, and Haddenham & Thame Parkway station, with trains to London Marylebone, is 5–10 minutes away. Oxford and Bicester Village are both around 30 minutes by car.
